Description
Departing from Lyon, we first go to Pérouges, a small medieval village overlooking the plains. Quick walking tour of the old city, with its old houses, remparts, churches and inns. Then we head toward Annecy through le Bugey, a region of lakes and mountains. The road is spectacular, with the high viaduct of Nantua offering breathtaking views of the lakes and the old industries of the valley. Once in Annecy, free lunch (not included), a short guided tour of the old town where the old canals meet the traditional savoyard buildings. After that, it’s a one hour commented cruise on the lake of Annecy from where you can admire castles and the surrounding mountains. Back to Lyon at the end of the day.
