Terms and Conditions of Sale

Article 1: General Clause

The terms and conditions of sale below are those set by Lyon Private Tours, SARL SIRET: 98526290600011 – VAT: FR74985262906. They take precedence over any other general terms of purchase. These general terms of sale constitute a contract approved between the two parties: you (the client) and us (Lyon Private Tours).

Article 2: Booking Conditions

All private tours, guided tours, conferences, company seminars, team building activities, transfers, and accompaniments. The reservation is effective as soon as the client has sent the reservation form by email or postal mail, dated and signed, specifying all the details of the service or circuit as well as the chosen method of payment. Lyon Private Tours undertakes to carry out the reserved service under the conditions agreed with the client: tour circuit, dates, times, meeting places, end of service location, tariff.

Article 3: Pricing

All prices mentioned on the Lyon Private Tours website, presentation brochures or leaflets, advertising posters are inclusive of VAT and given for information only. They cannot be considered contractual and are subject to change without notice. The prices mentioned include visits, transportation, wine and food tastings. Economic fluctuations or availability may lead to changes in pricing and services. The tours offered may be modified or removed except for confirmed orders. Tour schedules and durations are given for information only due to existing traffic difficulties in the Lyon region. Prices are calculated in euros and inclusive of VAT at 20% and are stated on the confirmation quote if applicable. In accordance with Article 293B of the CGI, the indicated price is understood to be exclusive of VAT for:

• Professionals from the European Union outside France,
• Professionals and individuals outside the European Union.

Article 4: Order Confirmation and Deposit

A written order confirmation is required from the client for any service in the form of a free quote including the client’s contact details, those of the group leader present during the visit, dates, times, and visit contents, the total tariff. The order confirmation is only final when the written document, dated and signed, is sent with the due deposit. A deposit of half the total amount is required for all services ordered 15 days before the event. If the reservation is made less than 15 days before the scheduled date of the service, full payment is required at the time of booking. This deposit then serves as final confirmation of the order.

Article 5: Cancellation and Refund

Any cancellation must be notified to Lyon Private Tours, the amount of fees retained based on the reservation made is as follows:

• Cancellation one month before the service: no penalty will be retained and the amount will be refunded to the client in full.
• Cancellation fifteen days before the service: 50% of the total amount of the service will be retained.
• Cancellation less than 7 days before the service: 100% of the amount will be retained.

If the amount of the service has not been paid, the client will be asked for payment under the same conditions. These cancellation conditions are valid regardless of the reason for cancellation.

Article 6: Modifications

Lyon Private Tours reserves the right to make any modifications deemed necessary for the smooth running of a service or circuit. If external elements such as traffic make the smooth running of a service impossible, Lyon Private Tours undertakes to propose a replacement service. In case of client delays, visits may be shortened or canceled without any refund being considered. In case of extension of the circuit, distance traveled or exceeding of schedules, Lyon Private Tours will invoice the client a supplement corresponding to the additional service performed for the client. Additional hours not provided for in the order will be billed at a rate of €50 including VAT. Lyon Private Tours undertakes to refund the amount of the service in case of cancellation due to Lyon Private Tours.

In accordance with Article 1148 of the Civil Code, Lyon Private Tours cannot be held responsible for events beyond its control (modifications to the service in the event of unforeseen circumstances, sudden closure of a visited site, lack of parking space, accident, terrorist act, weather conditions).

Article 7: Responsibilities and Insurance

Lyon Private Tours cannot be held responsible for damages or degradation caused by the client and their group during the service. Damages caused by them are covered by their liability insurance of which they must be the holder.

Article 8: Confidentiality Clause

All documents sent by Lyon Private Tours to its clients remain the exclusive property of Lyon Private Tours. It is prohibited for clients to disclose to third parties the documents provided or sent. Lyon Private Tours reserves the right to use photographs taken during tours or circuits for promotional purposes.
