Northern Rhone Wine Tour – Full day

Departing from Lyon, we first head for the Côtes-Rôties and Condrieu, the two northernmost crus of the Rhône for a first tasting. The roads on the hillsides are magnificent and offer an exceptional view of the valley and the Alps. After this first tasting, we continue our journey towards Tain l’Hermitage where we will have lunch (not included). A short walk on the legendary Hermitage hill to the small chapel in the middle of the Chapoutier and Jaboulay vineyards. The view opens a perspective on the Massif Central, the terraced vineyards and the Alps. We will then go to the Cave de Tain for a tasting of local wines: Saint-Joseph, Cornas, Crozes-Hermitages, Saint-Peray, Cornas, Hermitage. Return to Lyon at the end of the day.
